1. Learn Some Chinese
- Introducing how to say colors in Chinese with my markers. Do it with the Happy Easter fun sheet.
- Take out the 红色 and 粉红色 flashcards. Ask the students to point out the same and differences.
- Compare with 红色 and 绿色 flashcards. Look carefully! Are they same or not?
- That Thursday was a dress-down day, so students were wearing different colors of T-shirts. Let them find out the color of their T-shirt.
- Make sure most students can match characters, colors and pronunciations.
2. Review Some Math-Multiplication
- Start with multiplication table 1, 2, 3, ....8, 9, repeat once 6, 7, 8, 9.
3. Design the Easter Egg with the Fun Sheet
- The student who finish the fun sheet first can start the egg hunting first.
- There is a more challengeable question in the egg that I hid. Let's see who will be the Easter Egg Hunter Winner.
Students' Fun Sheet
This is the fun sheet I gave to the students. It is black-white copy, so it added more difficulty for students to finish.
I gave him extra help (I drew some colored squares next to the characters), so it is easier for him to finish coloring all the eggs first.
When he finished the most parts, he suddenly found out he remembered the wrong color with 橙色 and 绿色. I told him it is ok, as you already figured out your mistakes, you will remember it. There is no need to change it, your eggs are still look great.
