Here is a video of all the lucky phrases we use when greet each other during the Chinese New Year. When I was little, I memorized a lot of lucky phrases. When I greet adults, especially grand parents, they were so happy and give me a lot of red envelopes.
Sometimes we write wrong characters on purpose to make up a new and different meaning.
